I made it to Guatemala's most sought after Lake! | Ep 44

After leaving Xela I made my way to Lake Atitlan. A massive lake in Guatemala with many small towns and villages surrounding it! My first stop was San Pedro la Laguna! A small but busy town along the water.

The drive over to the lake was quite short and I stayed on the highway since I've still been having problems with my fan and my bike over heating. It was a super beautiful day of riding and I enjoyed getting to get high up into the mountains and the cool air.

San Pedro was super affordable and a fun spot to explore. I took the water taxi to Panajachel enjoyed a day there, and even caught a soccer game between two local teams to the area!

Next coming up I make my way to Santiago Atitlan to get closer to a Volcano I have my eye on... Volcan Atitlan! ( 3.535m or 11,598 feet )
