Funny Baby Orangutan Makes Us Laugh

Sumatran Orangutan Family, featuring Adult Female orangutan Subis and her offspring Daughter Tuti, Daughter Siska and her youngest and mischievous Male Baby Orangutan Arga
In this video 20 month old Little Orangutan Arga is a very Itchy Baby Orangutan and at one point even uses a rock to scratch his leg to get some relief from the itching!
He stays close to mom Subis at first, before being more independent and climbing across the rocks inside the wonderful Monsoon Forest Habitat

Sumatran Orangutans are Endangered
Sumatran Orangutans are an endangered species of Great Ape, threatened to the edge of extinction, due to the ongoing destruction of the Environment in their native homeland of The Indonesian Island of Sumatra. The destruction of their native forests is largely to make way for the planting of palm oil, which is used in the manufacture of many products in developed nations, such as food products and cleaning products.
Baby Orangutans at Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is the only Zoo in the UK to House and Care for Sumatran Orangutans. They are part of the breeding program for this important and vulnerable species, ensuring there is a strong genic population in zoos and wildlife centres across the world, essential for the future survival of these magnificent animals.
These rare Sumatran Baby Orangutans are absolutely adorable and so much fun to watch, Young Sumatran Orangutans interact with each other and learn from the behaviours of other Orangutans in their Family group.
