Daryl has been away on an adventure looking for Rick Grimes and he ended up in France where he met some people that he grew to love but like it used to say "There is no place like home" and some of that home found him in France in the presence of Carol Peletier, his best friend, confidant. After a few months of being away, Daryl reunites with Carol in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Book of Carol.
