This interfaith panel will launch an exciting new OCC video series, designed to provide tools, resources, and guidance on confronting this issue that is taking place in your community.
In working on this project to help faith communities play an active role in addressing interpersonal violence, it became clear that faith communities often perpetuate dynamics of abusive and unhealthy relationships through misuse of sacred texts and cultural norms. This panel specifically addresses this problem in different faith traditions, and how faith leaders and communities can instead provide a safe place for survivors to receive help, acceptance, and affirmation.
