Applications to be a City of Hot Springs Firefighter are being accepted until 4 p.m. on March 17, 2023. Completed applications can be taken to the Human Resources Department in City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard.
On April 1, the Fire Department will be giving the 2023 firefighter’s entrance examination (the physical agility test and the written exam).
To be eligible for the 2023 firefighter’s entrance examination, applicants must:
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be between the ages of 20 and 35
• Have graduated from an accredited high school or have passed the GED indicating high school graduation level
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Have never been convicted of a felony
