What is IGA (Identity Governance and Administration)?

Amilton Filho of OpenText Cybersecurity illustrates how IGA (identity governance and administration) can make it easier to identify access conflicts or potential fraud, and proactively identify and calculate which users represent more risk for the company. Linking IDM (identity manager) to IG (identity governance) automates provisioning and deprovisioning. So the IG combined with IDM can serve not only the identity lifecycle but provide additional administration and management capabilities. For this reason the combination IDM and IG is called IGA or IG+A.
