Mario Kart DS Local Multiplayer 8 Players! (Multi-Card Play and DS Download Play) (READ DESCRIPTION)

"I'll try and ensure the Mario Kart DS 8 player matches will be uploaded by the end of next week" ok so the reason why it took me 2 weeks longer and why there is only one active player in the video:

At school we were unable to gather 8 players this time, I got sick for a while so I missed many opportunities to try and get a full group in tutor group and there wasn't as much interest in doing 8 players compared to previous years, so unfortunately, I was unable to finally record a full 8 player mkds room like I've been wanting to over the past 2 years. To make up for it, I decided to record an 8 player Mario Kart DS match on my own, showing off all the features in 8 player multiplayer, and how it looks in DS download play etc. since there are no other 8 player mkds videos on YouTube, I thought it would be good to do this for preservation and archival purposes. I also couldn't get 8 players to work for balloon battle and shine runners for some reason, as one of the DSs would crash when selecting a balloon battle or shine runners course, which was very strange, most likely to do with the flashcart, since it worked fine through download play. It appears that doing local 8 player multiplayer is very unstable, I encountered many dcs, but that once again could just be the flashcarts. It is possible in the future that I'll be able to record a full MKDS 8 player room at school, but since the final years of school are very difficult, chances are we won't have time, but probably on muckup day in the final year, we might be able to do one final 8 player mkds tournament that I can record.

It is unfortunate I was unable to finally record an 8 player match with all active players like I've been intending to for so long, so you've got this boring video of me playing with inactive DSs lmao, I hope it still makes up for it all though. Like I stated before, maybe in the future this might be possible at school again or at a party or something.
