I was called out to change a cylinder on a British Standard ERA Nightlatch. If you’ve worked on these before, you’ll know that standard cylinders don’t fit straight in.
In this video, I show my locksmith hack to make a replacement cylinder fit perfectly while still keeping the hardened plate on the front for added security.
