The Carrs Safeway off Abbott was full of more than just shoppers. There were a lot of folks there for the Kicks 4 Kids event, an event with former and current Seahawks players and their mascot blitz, who were handing out shoes to kids who needed them. Niko Thorpe used to play with the Seahawks, but now coaches for them. He came up to Alaska just for this event.
