Hello folks and welcome to part 8 of our layout rebuild
If you are new to the channel, welcome.
To bring you up to speed, up until late 2020 we were basically in a perpetual loop of building sections of track then ripping them up on account of them not working properly as a model railway.
Fed up with this, we tasked Steve of https://neville-grove.weebly.com/ with the job of designing us a new layout. And crikey has he come up with something fantastic. Two layers, 90 meters of track and over 50 turnouts.
To this point in time we've been laying and wiring the lower level track work and working on the only lower scenic section of the layout; West Crowtham Station.
In this episode we are taking a look at some of the processes involved in getting the lower station to where it is today. This includes detailing the bit of scrub land between the track and the retaining walls, as well as a look at how we scratch built those walls in the first place.
As always, we hope you enjoy. If you haven't already, please subscribe to our nonsense, leave a like and a comment as well.
Thanks for watching.
