The New Idea square baler has been repaired, and we are heading over to Alan's folk's to square bale some second crop hay for our cows. The 820 John Deere was already over there for tedding and raking, so Alan and Paul brought over the square baler and hay baskets. We used the 200 Allis Chalmers tractor to run the square baler. It took 2 days, but we put up 593 much needed bales of hay! Everyone got to help, including Jason. Jessica and Justin excitedly put their muscles to the test to see if they could help stack hay in the hay mow. The weather was perfect, so come along and enjoy the process without any of the heavy lifting!
