Welcome to Part 66 of our Laravel 12 Multi-Vendor E-commerce Tutorial Series, where we’re building a complete, professional Multi-Vendor E-commerce Website from scratch.

In this part, we will continue enhancing our Product Filters and add Brand Filter functionality.

The brand filter will dynamically display brands related to the selected category, and users can filter products by brand without refreshing the page using Ajax.

1️⃣ Create getBrands function in ProductsFilter model
We will fetch all active brands associated with the products in the selected category.

2️⃣ Update filters.blade.php
Add the Brand Filter section with checkboxes (like we did for color and size filters).
Use the filterAjax class so that our filters.js can trigger Ajax refresh.

3️⃣ Update applyFilters in ProductService

4️⃣ Update ajax_products_listing.blade.php pagination
Ensure brand is preserved when navigating between pages

5️⃣ Test the functionality
• Select one or more brands → Products reload via Ajax.
• Pagination & sorting continue working with brand filters.
• URL updates with ?brand=Brand1~Brand2 format.

Now, Brand Filter is fully integrated with Ajax, works with multi-select, and is compatible with sorting, color, and size filters.
