First Impressions ⌚ Vintage Raketa Copernicus Watch + 2 mins Time lapse 👍

In this video, I review my Raketa Copernicus watch from the 1980s. The watch has a very cool design. Raketa was founded in 1721 in St. Petersburg as a stoneware manufacturer, after the second world war they started manufacturing watches.

The watch was launched in the early 1980s, after the name of the famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. The design is inspired by his theory of the universe, (Sun lies at the center of the system, and all the planets revolve around it). I think that the big hollowed circle (the minute hand) symbolizes the moon, whereas the small golden circle (the hour hand) symbolizes the sun. The watch was made entirely designed and manufactured in Saint Petersburg.

Verdict:
The watch has a very unique design and really is a conversation piece. The watch has a lot of issues, like the heavy crown, the accuracy of the movement, and the loud tone of ticking. However, it is a great watch if you get a good deal on it or get a great condition.
