We start by applying numbing cream to Courtney's lips, so she has a more comfortable experience. As we're waiting for that to take effect, I talk you through the important anatomical structures it’s vital to be aware of when administering forehead filler.

⚠️ Forehead filler is an impactful, rejuvenating and highly feminising advanced aesthetic treatment. But remember, you're working in a high risk zone.

The forehead is a highly vascular area, with several arteries that ultimately connect to the ophthalmic and retinal circulation.

In practical terms, this means that any intravascular injection here carries a real risk of compromising vision. For that reason, as clinicians, we need to be clear on our strategy for how to minimise the risk of intravascular injections.

As an aesthetic practitioner, you should only ever administer forehead filler if it's within your competency and you're using evidence-based protocols that protect patients from serious complications.

Then, we move on to the lips where I add a touch of lip filler to support Courtney's facial harmony, remembering that a feminine lip should sit between the width of the nose.

After reviewing Courtney's results so far, I addressed midface volume loss and reduced bulk at the mandibular angle, using 0.5mls of a medium G prime filler product on each side - Revanesse Ultra - to avoid creating too much projection. This created a beautiful tapered appearance and counteracted the 'squaring' she was previously concerned about.

After closing the filler chapter of her case study, I carried out a typical 3-area botox treatment. Watch to the end for my toxin tips, including how to use the C-line to establish injection points for reducing frontalis lines right at the top of the forehead, towards the hairline.
