今回は、八坂通り・八坂塔・三年坂・清水坂・清水寺を折り返し・二年坂・一年坂を散策しています。
京都市内は、一年を通して雪が滅多に積もらない地域ですが、この日は珍しく気温が氷点下まで下がり、町中が雪と氷のベールを纏っていました。
夜は賑わいのある日中とは対照的で、妖怪がひょっこり出てきそうなほど静かで情緒漂う景観が広がっています。

This 4k video shows a walk in the Higashiyama area of Kyoto, where the elegant townhouses and cobblestone alleyways remain late at night when the winter snow is falling.
In this video, we stroll along Yasaka-dori, Yasaka-to, Sannen-zaka, Kiyomizu-zaka, Kiyomizu-dera turning around, Nichinen-zaka, and Ichinen-zaka.
Kyoto City is an area where snow rarely accumulates throughout the year, but on this day, the temperature unusually dropped to below freezing and the whole town was covered with a veil of snow and ice.
At night, in contrast to the bustling daytime, the scenery is so quiet and emotional that it seems as if a specter might sneak out of the city.
