The Myth Contest created by artemis. For that contest, the theme was Greek Gods and I choose Hera. I choose that song/instrumental because I found the sound majestic and it fitted well with the fact that she is a Queen of Olympia.

Since she is the goddes of woman, I really wanted this video to be a open love letter to all girl in the world. We can be hero, we can be scientific, we can be whatever the hell we want. We are more than just pretty things.

Also, I choose to end the video with marriage and childbirth, to show that womens can be strong and independant and still have love and family. Plus, I also wanted Hera to say to mens that even if they aren't ready to be a dad, that is her fondest hope for them and they can too find being more then the stereotypical male alpha the society say they are suppose to be.

There is also many stories about Hera being a jealous women which made her really cold. I wanted to represent that story at 1:32, but with character development.

My biggest inspiration for that video were the videos made by Dove. They made girls destroying box with stereotype people have on her and also made a social experiment to see if they would go through the beautiful or the average door. Those videos broke my heart.
