The Greenwood Cultural Center is keeping the spirit of Black Wall Street alive in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. With an eye on a future of prosperity inspired by the past, the center
commemorates the lasting impact of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre through educational
programs, galleries, and historical documents. An immersive summer kids program helps
develop artistic and entrepreneurial skills.
The T.D. Jakes Foundation and Wells Fargo are excited to donate $25,000 in impact funds to the Greenwood Cultural Center to help further its programs and efforts to educate future generations about the men, women, and businesses that stood as pillars of the Greenwood and Black communities.
