This is the pinnacle of my nerf designs. So I'm sharing the development to this point as well an overview of this blaster.
The problem presented itself to me 2 years ago at Impact North West 2. Too many times I've had to choose between HPA and auto flywheelers, and it's too awkward to hold 2 blasters. This blaster, Battle Ax, solves all these problems meaning I can instantly swap between HPA and Flywheel. With some extra features thrown in :D
