January 13, 2026 - We were saddened to learn of the passing of our friend Bob Whitaker. We send our condolences to Linda and the family. When we think of Bob, we think of square dancing. Bob was a very talented man. Not only did he call square dances for many years, but he was also a talented musician. We’ve dedicated this segment of our square-dancing segment from the film documentary, created in 2017, “Going Home, Saluda’s Music Traditions” to Bob. We enjoyed getting to know him and Linda during the making of this timeless film. In this clip, you will also notice others who have gone on before us. We know they are somewhere square dancing tonight!
