(My first serious composition)
This is the second movement of my Symphony No. 1 — and my first serious attempt at writing a large-scale orchestral work. It’s a deeply personal piece that reflects my love for lush harmonies, lyrical textures, and emotional storytelling through music.
This movement draws inspiration from composers like Mahler and Schubert, combining late-Romantic warmth with a sense of introspective stillness. I aimed to create a sound world that feels both timeless and intimate, using wind chorales and string lines that ebb and swell like breath.
Composed entirely in MuseScore using MuseSounds, this movement represents months of growth, self-teaching, and dedication. I hope it resonates with you.
