UNBOXING Liberty Gears FWD Performance Trans - DCR Pro Axles - SRT-4 Project SilverStorm Episode 08

In todays video I unbox my SRT-4 Transmission that I had built by FWD Performance. Big Thanks to Cindy at FWD for working with me to get this ordered placed and completed. This transmission is BUILT tough with a Liberty Billet Input shaft with Billet 1/2 Straight cut gears. On top of this there are several other Goodies they do while in the transmission. Blasted and painted case (Silver)
Liberty Billet input shaft with straight cut 1st and 2nd gears
Liberty full billet 3/4 shift fork
New Mopar 1/2 shift fork
Pwerks carbon blockers on 2-3-4
Timken diff bearings
Mopar axle seals
Best synchro sleeve installed on 3-4
1-2 sleeve flipped for better teeth on 2
All speed gears cleaned and de-burred with polished blocker cone area
Billet shift selector with Modified 1-3-5 extender

Now that I have a transmission to hold the power I worked with Darrell at DCR on getting some CV axles that can hold the power. Comparing the DCR axles to the standard napa ones is night and day. I have no doubt these Axles will put the power down! When I go over the motor build I will be mentioning all the other DCR parts that I have on hard for this build . As I mention in the video there seems to be alot of controversy with DCR and my experience with him has been 100% perfect. Hes always communicated with me quickly and responded to all my questions.

I have the Bottom end of the motor at the machine shop now getting ready for assembly which we will film. The head is being ported before going to the machine shop. Definitely will have more videos to follow!
