Documentary on Walk For Life in Bangladesh Television

Walk For Life started its journey in September 2009 as a pilot project in Jashore District Hospital, Jashore. After a successful pilot, Walk For Life signed an MoU with The Ministry of Health to expand this service throughout the country. Walk For Life set up a network of 32 clubfoot clinics in 30 districts all over Bangladesh (except Chattagram division). As a result, no child has to travel more than 60km to get this treatment.

Walk For Life also produces international-standard clubfoot braces by local cobblers at a workshop in Jashore, Bangladesh.

Walk for Life, with strong working relationship with the Ministry of Health of the Government of Bangladesh, working together to eliminate clubfoot as a lifelong disability from Bangladesh.

Through collaboration with government, NGOs, doctors, medical practitioners and general public, the project aims to bring clubfeet children under treatment at the earliest possible age. International clubfoot experts volunteer to monitor and evaluate the clubfoot project.
