It's been a while since I recorded southern Alabama's sirens. Our first siren originally was going to be Wetumpka's Thunderbolt 1000T and an inactive Darley, but apparently foggy weather canceled Elmore Co.'s siren test. So, to start off with the first siren, I went to Prattville's 2001-130 over by Home Depot and PetSmart, along with my mother, whom I brought along with me. The siren test was a success, and it went off on time. However, the wind-up did not sound good. It's either that the chopper is rubbing up against the stator, or something with its bearings, or it is something else that I can't disclose.
