Kou sensed supernatural energy from Yoshiki since Yoshiki has been slowly ‘mixing’ with impurities/‘Hikaru’ due to continued contact. Although Kou uses the term ‘Supernatural’ and Yoshiki uses the term ‘Impurity’, I’ll be treating them as similar energies/entities that just act differently based on the respective source material.
The lore behind the Organism is original~~ though, the barebones concept is loosely based on Fear Domains in The Magnus Archives.
Kou is the one to propose them all being from different timelines as a new timeline was created in TBHK after the clock keepers changed the original timeline; as Kou is at a point after his death, he should know about this new timeline.
Why does Sakura mention Liko having an accent? Well, Liko was raised in Paldea (Pokemon’s equivalent to Latin America), though her parents are Kantonian (Pokemon equivalent of Japanese). In the anime, she travels to Kanto to attend a boarding school (the same one her parents did as children). Based on this, I thought it’d make sense that she’s able to speak Kantonian/Japanese, but has a limited knowledge of the language and speaks with a slight accent, similar to many real-life American-Born Asians. I will admit though, Sakura probably should’ve been more excited at the idea of Liko being a foreigner based on his reaction to Suo when they first met 😓… I’ll put some interactions between them based on Liko being a foreigner during the break~
Liko’s age isn’t canon, as it’s never explicitly mentioned. Most guess that she’s about 10 pre-timeskip and 11 post-timeskip; I made her 12 as it’s the youngest possible age to begin Junior High, and I thought it’d make sense that she’s starting Junior High as she’s at a new school in the beginning of the anime.
Nazuna mentions ‘Mika’, another Enstars character, initially slipping up and calling him ‘Mika-Chin’ before correcting himself to ‘Kagehira’. (This is because of lore that will be explained in his part.) I based it on several moments where he does this in recent Enstars ENG stories, but I’m not sure if he still does this in the newest stories, as translations of JP stories are difficult to find. If anyone knows, please tell me, and I’ll correct it in the future.
I’m… fairly certain Nazuna is in 2nd year of Uni as of JP timeline. ENG is annoyingly behind, in which he’s only in 1st year.
Kou mistakes Nazuna as a girl as this happens many times in the early Enstars story.
