This video goes through each stage of bleeding the V8 and V12 engines as fitted to the BMW E31, E32, E38 and E39. Using this procedure the system will bleed first time successfully - unless there is a fault with the system.

I've been using this system for 20 years and have never had an engine that fails to bleed correctly - it is straightforward and simple and works every time!
Although this process is shown on an 840ci the procedure is the same for the 850ci, 850csi, 735i, 740i, 750i and 540i
