Electrified Mini Town: A Parallel Circuit Model
This project is a miniature town model that demonstrates a parallel circuit using conductive tape and LEDs to illuminate a house and a street lantern.
Components Used:
• Conductive Tape – Serves as the wiring, allowing electricity to flow.
• LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) – One inside the house and another in the lantern.
• Battery – Provides the power needed to light both LEDs.
• Paper and Cardboard Structures – Used to build the house, lantern, and trees.
• Parallel Circuit Diagram – Displays the wiring and connections.
How It Works:
• The circuit follows a parallel design, meaning each LED has a separate path to the power source.
• When the circuit is completed, both the house and the lantern light up simultaneously.
• If one LED stops working, the other continues to glow, showcasing the advantage of parallel circuits in real-world applications like street lighting and home wiring.
