What happened to the 52k Peg Camp Spot?
This week we continue our Nullarbor journey, leaving the eerie ruins of Koonalda Homestead behind and heading for the breathtaking Bunda Cliffs — but not everything goes to plan…

We arrive at the well-known 52k Peg Rest Area ready to settle in for the night, only to find that camping is no longer allowed there. With the drone in the sky, we take in the dramatic coastline before continuing on through wild winds and dramatic skies at a remote lookout.

From there, we cross into Western Australia and roll into Eucla, where we spend the night at the historic Telegraph Station free camp in some of the worst weather of our trip so far.

The next morning, we explore the lesser-known Madura Caves, track down a peaceful free camp, and finally reach the Balladonia Roadhouse — the last stop before we take a turn off the highway to somewhere special…
