This chapter began in Warsaw.
Silvana's clutch was still permanently engaged, and I still had to change gears by ear; but once in fifth, she devoured kilometres with her insatiable appetite.
We set off with optimism as our co-pilot and wind as our soundtrack. Russia – vast, mysterious – was waiting for us somewhere at the edge of the map.
Through rain and cold we have arrived at the Russian border. Where things didn't go as smoothly as we hoped.
