The next Karnataka Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held in or before May 2023 to elect all 224 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. In this state, The Chief Justice of India on Thursday did not accept a request for an urgent listing of the petitions challenging the Karnataka High Court Judgment. Hijab-wearing girls might not be allowed to write the II PUC exam beginning later this month. The education department on Thursday issued an order that the II PUC examinees must wear the prescribed uniform and if there is no uniform prescribed, they must wear dresses that safeguard equality and integrity and maintain the public order.
