Recently, Communications Based Train Control was enabled along the entire (7) line allowing trains to travel at higher speeds with a system called Automatic Train Protection Mode, or ATPM. The system keeps the train at the maximum speed allowable in a block and will automatically lower the train's speed if it exceeds that limit. Automatic Train Operation still has yet to be activated on the line. Trains are still being controlled manually with ATPM active. Speeds across most of the line have increased much in part to slightly higher speed cutoffs during acceleration.
Last few clips were taken in August 2018.
