Feeling safe around someone when grieving is crucial in order to be able to express emotional pain and heartache in a healthy way, moving you along your grief journey towards healing. You may be feeling, "I need kindness and compassionate to feel safe." On this 10th video in her Emotion Series Julie Kay is helpingn you learn how to feel emotionally safe as she breaks down the meaning of several ways we are supposed be toward one another in 2 Bible verses. You need empathy to heal.
Qualitites of a safe and supportive person are kindness, compassion, being tender hearted, and acceptance are what is needed when we're grieving, along with finding out what is needed personally and giving to them.
