I met Alex Brown 20 years ago, freshman year at New England Conservatory. We lived together in Boston. Later in New York. We’ve played more gigs and jam sessions than I can count.

Now he’s a GRAMMY-winning pianist who’s worked with Yo-Yo Ma, Paquito D’Rivera, Christian McBride — the list goes on.
