Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (Punjabi and Urdu: راحت فتح علی خان, born 9 December 1974) is a Pakistani singer, primarily Qawwali, a form of Sufi devotional music.
Khan is one of the most popular and highest paid singers in Pakistan. He is the nephew of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan and grandson of Qawwali singer Fateh Ali Khan. In addition to Qawwali, he also performs ghazals and other light music. He is also well-known as a playback singer in Hindi cinema and the Pakistan film industry.

While Mai Hoon Shahid Afridi was an average success, Jawani phir Nahe Ani went on to become the highest grossing film of Pakistan cinema and broke all the previous box office records while earning more than 490 million at the box office. He also wrote Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, which was released on 2018 Eid al-Adha and broke the all time biggest box office grosses record. It also went on to become the first Pakistani film to make 700 Million rupees worldwide.
