Evidence Collected at Autopsy of Laken Riley Detailed By Medical Examiner

As medical examiner Michelle Dimarco continued her testimony on Tuesday afternoon, she detailed the evidence collected during Laken Riley’s autopsy. Riley was allegedly murdered by Jose Ibarra while on a run at the University of Georgia’s campus.

Twenty-six-year-old Jose Ibarra, an illegal immigrant. was arrested after police identified him as a suspect in the tragic murder of college student Laken Riley, who was killed while jogging on the University of Georgia campus in February. Riley was found dead with signs of blunt force trauma and asphyxiation. Ibarra faces multiple charges, including murder and tampering with evidence. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
