Finally, the much anticipated arrival of the Saanich Swap Meet; to me, it's special because of its significance in my life. I brought in a couple of military vehicles during my time serving in the Canadian Forces as a vehicle technician and recruiter. The swap meet went hand-in-hand with what the military trades do. Now, after my retirement from the military, I still attend the event with great enthusiasm. Maybe someday we'll see military vehicles displayed again.
