After two ER visits in a single night, I swore off side-effect-laden cancer meds. Knowing that outcome isn't easy either, I got away for the afternoon — just me, the open road, and my thoughts.
What I found wasn’t the poetic ending I’d imagined...
But, if you look closely, there’s always something beautiful.
This is a glimpse into that day, a reminder that even when things feel like they’re ending, wonder still exists. And so do I.
