Episode 02: But Make It Vegan! Moms Hamburger Soup

Hello, my friends and welcome back to another video! Today we are making another one of my mom's recipes, but Vegan! We are making Hamburger soup, but NOT hamburger soup because we will be using green lentils as the protein for this recipe. This is a vegan version of a meal my mom made for my family growing up. This is the second episode of a series of videos veganizing my family favorites called But Make it Vegan!!

Mom’s Hamburger Soup, but Vegan!

-1 Cup green lentils
-2 ish carrots chopped
-2 ribs of celery chopped
-1 medium onion chopped
-2 Tbs Vegan butter
-3 Non-beef boulion cubes
-5 cups of water
-1 can cut green beans drained or 1 cup of frozen green beans
-1 can stewed or diced tomatoes with the juices
-1 Tbs Miso Paste
-1 to 2 Tbs dried parsley
-Black pepper to taste, at least ¼ tsp
