Finally the full story!
I want to make it so clear that I am fully aware that I needed time to train as a GI NP. I was not asking to shorten my training or do things that I wasn't prepared for. None of the APP's in the office ran their own clinic, so when I was continually promised that that would happen, I knew it was a false promise. The role of the APP was created to extend care to patients and using APP's as scribes is a waste of time, resources, money and does not benefit patients. It's also not a smart financial decision, but I digress. I also do not stand for bullying in the workplace and knew that I was worth so much more and could do so much more for patients, but I wasn't being allowed to.
