A few years ago, my good friend David (PercyFan1998) wrote a little story about Emily; he even took the time to narrate it when I told him I was planning to adapt it. Now, I say "a few years ago" because the episode's been in the works for that long. I had to wait for everyone to get their lines in, and I was also building a model of the van featured in this story; it took me several tries to get his shape right. But the story's here now, and I hope you enjoy what David and I have cooked up.
Fallen trees seem to be giving Emily no end of trouble while she's helping out on Thomas' branch line. Meanwhile, the workmen and their reluctant van are having troubles of their own one rainy day.
