But Fire Emblem was ALWAYS Anime...Right???

In this editorial I attempt to debunk the common saying that "Fire Emblem has always been anime". With Fire Emblem Engage's art being such a hot-topic, I've seen this defense thrown to dismiss criticism of this game's art-direction. But I never really agreed with the use of this term.
