Recently Rodney and his crew found themselves deep in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois at Camp Ondessonk. Being a camper at Ondessonk means surrendering the usual electronics, games and phones in order to get back to nature and what is important to today's youth: self confidence, responsibility and friendships that will last a lifetime. This camp has been inspiring our youth for over 50 years! And they allowed Rodney to saddle up and take a trail ride — if he left his cell phone at the barn.
