Imprisoned, Drugged and Confused: Travis the Chimp’s Attack on Charla Nash

As a kid I loved animals - and still do - so whenever I saw a chimp in a movie I would always tell my mum I wanted one. Her response to that was "It'll rip your face off." So Travis' attack on Charla has been an incident seared into my mind from a young age. It crosses my mind from time to time and I'm glad I was able to delve into it more and hopefully help spread some awareness around the ownership of chimpanzees and exotic pets.
