This video shows the complete process of replacing the rear brake pads on a Land Rover Discovery Sport L550 (Ingenium 2.0 diesel).
Because the vehicle uses an electric parking brake integrated into the rear calipers, the system must be placed into service mode before disassembly.
We are using the iCarsoft LR V3.0 diagnostic tool to:
Release the electronic parking brake into service mode
Perform the rear brake pad replacement
Return the system to normal operating mode after the installation
Unlike earlier models such as the Range Rover Sport L320, the Discovery Sport does not use a separate parking brake caliper or drum system.
