Pope urges faithful to 'carry not just own cross, but also others' amid wars on Palm Sunday | ANC

Pope Francis on Sunday (April 13) made an appearance at the Palm Sunday service at the Vatican. Seen in a wheelchair, the 88-year-old pontiff greeted the crowd, before addressing them. In his homily read by Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, Pope Francis remembered people suffering from war. The Pontiff was discharged from hospital on March 23 after spending five weeks being treated for lung infection, which his doctor later said had nearly killed him.
