In May 2021, 5-year-old Emi Price and her 3-year-old brother, Teddy, were found deceased in their father's home in an Omaha suburb. According to prosecutors, the children's father, Adam Price, smothered them and then placed their bodies in their beds. Court documents state that Price confessed to a priest that he had killed his children after leaving the area and traveling to California. Following a trial, a jury deliberated for two hours before reaching a guilty verdict for Adam Price.
