April 15, 2015 | Meditation lies at the intersection of religion and secularity, modernity and authenticity. Charles Taylor, one of the world’s leading scholars of these topics, will lecture on the connection between meditation and faith in modern society. A practicing meditator in the Roman Catholic tradition, Taylor will begin the evening’s event with a short meditation. Fr. Laurence Freeman, O.S.B. will moderate a discussion after the formal lecture.
