I've always wanted to have that legendary Black Album tone and now I've got it! I finally figured out how to use amp matching in Bias so I downloaded the studio multitracks, isolated the studio guitars, and stole Metallica's tone.
I rerecorded the distorted rhythym tones. The clean tones and Kirk's wah parts are the original studio tracks. The bass and drums are also the original tracks.
Signal chain:
Reverend Double Agent OG - Roland Tricapture USB interface - Reaper - Bias Desktop.
Both left and right channels were recorded on my Reverend Double Agent OG but I used the Jackson just for the video to change it up a little bit.
Song is in E. Tuning starting from low string: E A D G B E.
