Okinawa was still in an extended state of COVID-19 emergency when I shot this video. The quiet activity at the domestic and international airports is heartbreaking. I drove along Kokusai-Dori, a famous street frequently visited by tourists and shoppers. It was a Sunday, yet many shops were closed, and few pedestrians were strolling along the road. I wonder how business establishments managed to survive with this current situation. Covid-19 sucks!
