Yew Tee was a military site with Oil Field, Royal Naval Wireless Station and Ammunition Depot during British rule. The old railway track leading to Malaysia has turned into a rail corridor, forming a scenic view with the Pang Sua Canal and Park Connector. Senior residents of Yew Tee shared their first-hand information about the town as it evolved.

早期叫做土油城的油池，在英殖民时代是个军事重地，设有油库、无线电站和军火库，二战烽火却改变了油池的面貌。油池从乡村变成市镇后，过去火车经过的地方变成绿色走廊，与盘沙河和公园连道形成新的风景线。老居民走回油池老路，揭开它的前世今生。
