MIXING BASS Using The 80/20 Rule | Mix Better Now
We're continuing mixing "The Limit" by Matt MacKelcan in this "Mixing Using The 80/20 Rule" series. Here we focus on mixing the Bass Guitar/s. I show you how I take an ordinary Bass DI track and turn it into a huge, punchy sounding amped bass tone via my favorite bass amp sims, compression and eq. We then blend the DI'd bass track with the re-amped bass track, sending the two to a Bass Buss where we treat the two tracks as one sound using The 80/20 Rule.
